I got ₱19,000 Accommodation Discount from Klook's Taiwan the Lucky Land Promo!

When I was planning for my birthday trip to Taiwan, I joined the Facebook group called Taiwan for Dummies (PH). This group has really been helpful in planning my trip and I was able to get a huge discount, especially when I learned that Taiwan is giving away NT$5,000 to tourists going to their country in a form of accommodation vouchers or vouchers that can be used for shopping. 

Promo runs from: May 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025.

To join:

1. Answer the Klook survey about Taiwan: https://www.klook.com/en-PH/tetris/survey/taiwanluckyland2024/

2. After answering the survey, you will receive an email from Klook if you won or you are shortlisted for the NT$5,000 accommodation voucher. The email looks like this.

NOTE: If you haven't received the email, check your spam or search for keywords on your email. It may not appear on your inbox. If there is no email, check your Klook app if you can see this voucher.

If there is no email and Klook voucher code, it means that you were not selected to participate in Taiwan the Lucky Land Klook promo code. You can proceed to Step 4 to register for the airport lucky draw.

3. Use web browser or your laptop. Click the image from the email you received. Book your accommodation from the selected list of hotels. The voucher on your Klook account will automatically be selected along with other Klook discounts upon booking. Pay the difference first and you will receive an email to confirm your booking.

Here’s a proof that I got ₱19,000 worth of discounts (Cropped the name of the hotel and the dates where I will stay for security purposes)

• ₱10,331.50 - Klook membership and Early booking discount
• ₱8,817.70 - NT$5,000 voucher from Klook

 

4. FOR SHORTLISTED PARTICIPANTS: Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with your unique TTA link within the next 24 hours. This is the link where you will register to claim the NT$5,000 voucher that you will present upon hotel check-in. 

NOTE: If you haven't redeemed the voucher and if you are unable to show the QR code, you will shoulder the NT$5,000 upon check-in at the hotel. Make sure to register prior to your arrival to Taiwan.

FOR PARTICIPANTS WHO HAVEN'T RECEIVED AN EMAIL OF BEING SHORTLISTED: Register through this link (https://5000.taiwan.net.tw/people2_en.html) at least 7 days before your trip. This will allow you to participate on the Taiwan the Lucky Land Lucky Draw at the airport.

5. After submitting your registration, you will receive a QR code through your email and this QR code will be presented to the prize redemption area at the airport so you can claim the vouchers that you will present at the hotel upon check-in.
