Sheet masks makes our lives easier because more often than not, it shortens the 10-step Korean Skincare routine. Of course, we should always be investing more on skincare - and not doing your skincare routine day and night is like a mortal sin if you want to achieve Korean skin.
While most of us are oftentimes tired at work, it's fine to skip a night and be lazy with the entire skincare routine and just pamper ourselves with a quick mask sheet time. Truth be told, I still consider mask sheets a pamper me time because they do make me feel nourished and smooth-skinned.
For today, let me share my thoughts about Charis' own sheet masks: the M+ Madecasosside Cica Mask.

The M+ Madecasosside Cica Mask is a 4-in-1 Care Mask that Clarifies, Lifts, Relaxes, and Moisturizes the skin. This refreshing type of sheet masks contains Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Madecasosside, and Matricaria Leaf Extract, which gives an outstanding relaxation, moisturization, conditioning, and vitality to your externally stimulated skin.
What it does:
- Calming - soothes your skin
- Repairs - recovers damaged portion
- Clarifying - makes skin clear and bright
This mask is suitable for all skin types (Oily, Combination, Dry). It is best used at night time because it is our skin's time to rejuvenate from the tiring day and it is best absorbed by the skin before going to bed - because we will no longer be putting makeups.
How to use:
- After cleansing and toning, spread the sheet mask on your face like the one above.
- Leave on your face for 10-20 minutes to absorb the essence. Pat the mask sheet to spread more product to the areas that are not yet covered by the mask
- Remove after 20 minutes and massage the essence to your skin
This is how is looks like when opened. It has a white milky juice inside. Upon opening the pack, you can instantly smell milk. For me, this scent is a plus compared to other masks that has strong fruity smell. Using this mask feels like bathing in milk.
The mask itself is not too thin and does not easily tear up. The content is enough to cover the face unlike some sheet masks that has a lot of juice that makes you feel sorry for the left over.
As what sheet masks always do, it gives instant moisture to the skin because of its juicy property. After removing for 20 minutes, the M+ Madecasosside Cica Mask feels a bit sticky but when you massage onto the skin, it is easily absorbed and gives you smooth and nourished skin on the next day.
I like how it dried up my cystic pimple! I didn't get any irritation right after using it. There's still left over essence in the pack which I can use for the next day (without the mask though). I like how it moisturized my skin, however, it is not readily available in Korean stores and only available online. 1 pack of mask sheet is also quite expensive at 130php.
But overall, this mask is a YES for me.
