Althea recently had a mini giveaway for their Angels community and I am one of the Angels who's lucky to try out this Rilakkuma Cushion Blusher from A'PIEU and more freebies included. I am always waaaay too excited to receive Althea boxes for the longest time even though I already know what stuffs are inside. It always tend to give a giddy feeling of excitement every time I open one.
For today, here's a quick peek to A'PIEU's Rilakkuma Air Fit Cushion Blusher (520php). Everyone who love cute packaging will definitely love this product.
It has a very CUUTE!!! packaging that you couldn't help but just keep and don't use it. It was available from the Althea webiste, but unfortunately, it was already discontinued as it was only a limited edition. When I first opened the compact, I immediately tried out and swatched and I can vouch that this cushion blusher can also be a BB foundation and contour in one.
I have been recently obsessed with BB Cushions because they tend to balance out the blending of the foundation into our skin. So as you can see below, it comes in a cushion compact with a clear mirror and a Rilakkuma cushion sponge.
Here's a swatch in natural lighting, and it is quite dark to be a Cushion foundation. Korean cosmetics usually have lighter shades but this one is darker so it can work as a fondation for morena skin and a contour cushion for fair skin. I have tried it as a blusher but it is not very visible. To be honest, I have used this as a base foundation until it ran out.
Coverage is light to medium and it has a dewy finish. If you want it matte, you can set it using your setting powders so that it no longer looks dewy.
