I'm not a blush-on type of girl. I don't often put blush on my cheeks but when I started working in the corporate world, - although I am not literally facing clients - I learned that I should make myself presentable all the time.
Blush ons adds color to the cheeks and makes us look extra dashing and blooming. For today, let me share a quick review of the Silky Girl Duo Shimmer Blushers (329php)
Price: 329php
Where to buy: Silkygirl counters at Robinsons Department Stores & Supermarkets
Available shades: 01 Cheeky Peach, 02 Blushing Pink, 03 Rose Petal, 04 Sunny Glow
Each Silkygirl Duo Shimmer Blushers comes with a mini brush and dual shade shimmer blush ons. Here are the close up shades:
01 Cheeky Peach |
Cheeky Peach is the lightest pink shade perfect for teens.
02 Blushing Pink |
Blushing Pink has a bit darker pink shades but not too dark to overpower the cheeks.
03 Rose Petal |
Rose Petal is a bit peachy and orange shade perfect for a drunk blush look.
04 Sunny Glow |
Sunny Glow is the darkest of all 4 shades that has a pink-brown combination shade
What I think:
- The blush kit is very compact that is easy to bring everywhere.
- The brush included is quite stiff and it makes it hard to blend the product.
- You might need to use a bigger blush brush to spread the blush properly on your cheeks.
- The blush is semi-pigmented and not powdery so it won't leave powder casts on the cheeks.
- Yes, it has some little glitters when applied because it has shimmer features
- Might need to apply few layers to get the shade that you want but it is nice when applied.
This blush duo is going to be on my keep list because I would rather have soft pigmented blush ons than super pigmented ones.
