I'm a total rookie at using eye shadow palettes that's why I rarely review and buy them. But this year, I am starting to practice doing it to kind of step up on doing my make up and to have a stepping stone with my current dream to learn makeup artistry.
For today, I am going to have a quick review of the Covergirl Trunaked Eyeshadow Palette in Roses.
I got this from a friend from the US but I believe there are other shades here in the Philippines. The palette costs around $12 in the US.
I instantly fell in love with the shade combination of this palette. It is a combination of pink and peach colors that will perfectly create a soft and shimmery eye shadow.
It comes in a plastic container with a small eye shadow applicator and 8 neutral shades of pink and purple that are highly pigmented.
I don't use the applicator because it tend to add the fallouts of the eye shadow itself.
It comes in matte and shimmer shades that has a bit of creamy consistency. Although quite creamy, the Covergirl TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette in Roses is easy to blend on the lids and can create a wonderful eye illusion with a bit of shimmer. The shades create incredible texture that helps define the eyes more.
Here is the final look I created using Covergirl TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette in Roses. What do you think?
