Admit it or not, cute packaging is very enticing and will surely make you decide to pick it up and add to your shopping bag. It will be pretty convincing if a make up with cute packaging is as affordable as you expect. Cheers to Bobbie Cosmetics for coming up with Into the Nudes eyeshadow palette. Cute packaging + very affordable.
Bobbie Cosmetics creates make up lines at an affordable price as their target market are teens and yuppies who are starting to build their kikay kit and vanity.
This Into the Nudes eyeshadow palette is priced at Php215 with 12 matte shades.
Swatches as below:
Splashed with water |
If you can closely see on the photos above, the Into the Nudes eyeshadow palette has a good selection of nude shades. It is Naked by Urban Drcay-inspired palette but performs very well. Pigmentation is nice, you will need to apply a few layers to get the color that you want but it is not as easy to remove as you think. I had it splashed with water and swatch is still there.
I have read a few blogs that the Into the Nudes eyeshadow palette claims to be matte but most of its shades has shimmer on it. Yep! That's true. But I have noticed as well that even though it has shimmers, it finishes matte when applied to the eyelid.
Pardon me as I don't have that much eyeshadow skills (still practising!) but if you can check on the photo above, the shades are very promising and blendable. I was expecting this to be a bit harder to blend but it actually exceeded my expectation. It has good shade selection and long staying if you apply eye primer on.
Will definitely recommend these to make up beginners.
Bobbie cosmetics is available in Robinsons Department stores and drugstores nationwide.
