Summer is just around the corner and most of us, if not all, will be having our summer getaways with family or friends. One of the necessity when travelling is having sunblocks/sunscreens because it helps us protect our skin from the sun. But don't you know that even if it's not summer, we can still use these products?
Going out without sun protection is a sin especially if you are into whitening. The sun's rays are just too strong that you need protection to stay on your current skin state.
Sunkiller is a product of Heroine Make, a Japanese cosmetic brand. I got this one from my January 2015 BDJ Box: Beauty Must Haves .
This sunblock features super UV blocking abilities, with a special UV Cut powder that helps the sunblock last on your skin longer. I think there are two variants, one is this, and the other one is Cool Perfect Strong with same SPF.
Sunkiller Perfect Strong Plus is very milky, good for the face and the body, but I only use this one on my face. It is very handy which is good for your travel kit, but I suggest to bring extra sunblock for your whole body.
The packaging has a dropper-style that dispenses the product.
As you can see, the formula is really runny and watery as it easily streaks on the lines of my palms. See that? It may look very white but it doesn't leave white cast on the skin. You just have to spread it evenly and let it dry before applying make up on. It dries matte, so you don't have to worry about getting sticky. But it is advisable not to stay too long under the sun because it will make you sweat.
This is my current favorite because it gives a nice matte finish, plus it easily blends. It also functions as a make up base. Even though I don't use much make ups, I still use this before applying foundation and it doesn't make the foundation cake.
Since it has high SPF, it can protect you from the sun. Sometimes, you need to do retouching if necessary. It has a non-sticky formula and feels very lightweight.

It is rather curious that I came across this post when I did. I just recently found out that I now need sun block whenever I go out in the sun or I will get blotches on my skin. I currently use a SPF30, but it looks like I'll be needing something a bit higher. I really just need to put it on my arms, but I have big arms. This looks to be a bit small, but if I see it in the stores, I will give it a try, at least once. If it works well, then I'll just purchase some more. Thank you for posting this.
